Blogging, when I was introduced to, was basically interpreted for me as sober representation of some agenda or interest. However overtime I came across so many other different colors and varieties of blogging. As far as I have come through, blogs are written by good souls mostly for some self-satisfaction rather than earning money or anything else.
One of my friends, who perhaps belongs to a more conservative elder generation, doesn’t really understands the concept of blogging. His justification is that social networking, as blogging being part of it, is after all for people who don’t socialize. Few years before, the trend was to have chat friends – people used to boast as having chat friends from Germany, Australia etc. Blogging now is one such, he puts.
Thats just a perspective. May not entirely be a fact, though. Also he wonders why amongst some reasonably good posts, some funny childish things are written with no point… This rather gives an impression that reading/writing blogs is merely of a waste of time, said he.
Well, wisdom is not wise if it scares away merriment isn’t it?
well ,first thing , ur friend must not be a blogger since he has so obnoxious ideas..
then..yes people write some childish post but thats very less now days..blogging was once upon a time considered to be persaonal thing but it has opened up a lot..now ppl write a variety of topics…
the point that he made that blogging is for people those cant sacialize with people is totally absurd .. i cant accept that at all.. being a blogger myself i socialize with people faster than non bloggers…
this is not the perception of just ur friend but majority of the non blogger community..
we cant change it …they have to change it themselves…let them jump into the world of blogging and they will realize swimming in it as free as never before…

There are half-way through people as well – people who actively write in user groups but curse blogging. Well i just brush away these guys saying that I write blog for my own satisfaction period.

I too write for my self satisfaction .. also it helps to express myself better ..
actually i say ppl who cant express themselvs can never blog..
